I can’t think of a better place to debut my newest watercolor series, Our Hometown - Ukiah, than Stan’s Maple Café—a place in the heart of the town where friends gather, stories are shared, and hospitality is warm.
This collection is especially close to my heart. The paintings celebrate the familiar places and local charm that make our community special—the spots we pass every day, where memories are made and where life unfolds. It isn’t about landmarks alone. It’s about connection, familiarity, and belonging.
Each piece is an invitation to pause, remember, and appreciate the beauty woven into our everyday surroundings. I invite you to linger, reflect, and perhaps see a familiar place in a new way. If these paintings spark a memory or a smile and feel like home to you, then they have done what they were meant to do.
