I’m thrilled to share something close to my heart—my first illustrated children’s book: My ABC Book of Horses - A Poetic Ride Through The Alphabet, written by Rachel Brown and lovingly painted in my signature watercolor style. This book has been a dream project for both of us.

From the moment I began working in watercolor, I had a deep desire to illustrate children’s books. I love the thought of creating something lasting for little hands and big imaginations. Something that parents and children can experience together—return to, read aloud, and linger over as they explore the images.

Rachel Brown, her husband, and their two sons live in the beautiful Ozarks on a small, ever-growing farm. Rachel declares herself horse crazy from the start! She has been blessed to always have horses in her life. You’ll find that this book is a joyful blending of two of her greatest passions: writing and horses.

You may be wondering how an author in Arkansas and an artist in California found our way to working together. Like many creative journeys, this one began with a thoughtful connection, and a shared love of storytelling. My heartfelt thank you to Mandi Summit, Red Quill Editorial LLC for her role in bringing us together.
