Watercolor Wins

Since I began watercolor painting, one of the most meaningful milestones in my creative journey has been participating in the Redwood Empire Fair Fine Arts exhibit. This event brings together a talented and diverse community of local artists, and I’ve been honored to be a part of it.

This year I entered five original watercolor paintings—and I’m thrilled to share that my work received the following recognition:

  • 2 Best of Division Awards

  • 4 First Place Ribbons

  • 1 Second Place Ribbon

Receiving these awards is incredibly affirming. Watercolor can be a challenging medium, and seeing my efforts acknowledged in this way means so much.

More than the ribbons, though, I find the fair fine arts exhibit to be a wonderful opportunity to see the incredible work being created throughout our region.

Thank you to the Redwood Empire Fair, the fine arts exhibit organizers, the judges, and everyone who came out to support the arts. And thank you, as always, to those who support my artistic path—whether it’s by following my work, sharing encouragement, or simply appreciating the beauty of handmade art.
